FAMILY AT THE BEACH- Franklin Family- Santa Monica Annenberg Beach House-Children and Family Lifestyle Photography

The sun's reflection on the ocean can be really harsh on your subjects when taking pictures. Everyone's squinting and shadows are hard. Plus, during my shoots, people are moving most of the time. Luckily I've figured it out and perfect weather trumps those challenges. This day was the perfect storm for all the above. Plus the Franklin's are too much fun. We were shooting to showcase their time living in Pacific Palisades and to create a book they could easily carry back home to Australia. Turned out the coastline summed it up perfectly.
